Space for Art – Film Screening and LIVE Q&A
January 25, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Nicole Stott, astronaut, artist and Space for Art Foundation Co-Founder, will be at the Museum on January 25, 2025 for a special screening of the award-winning film, Space For Art, and a live Q&A.
Space for Art is an extraordinary documentary film on the power of hope, courage, and healing. The film follows astronaut and artist Nicole Stott on perhaps her most important mission of uniting a planetary community of children through the awe and wonder of space exploration and the healing power of art.
Discussion and Q&A with Stott and other members of the Space for Art team will follow after the screening.
And as a special treat, we have extended the run of our Home Beyond Earth exhibit through January 26 so you can see Nicole’s watercolor, that was painted during her time on the International Space Station, on display in the exhibit!
Presented as part of the Museum’s Home Beyond Earth exhibition and as part of Astronaut January (details below.)
